This padded seat cushion quickly installs on the top of your rack and creates a padded seat cushion.

Product Specs

24″ long x 8″ wide x 2.25″ thick

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) fabric, nylon webbing, hook-and-loop tape, plastic slide rings

This padded seat cushion quickly installs on the top of your rack and creates a padded seat cushion for child or adult passengers. Think mattress in your VW bus. Use one or two (with a Hooptie or SnackBars) for maximum comfort. Using our new TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) fabric, it’s hard-wearing, durable, but still comfortable. We can’t guarantee your passengers won’t fall asleep.

While not waterproof, the MagicCarpet is made with water resistant fabric.

One cushion covers the entire deck. When using only one cushion, a Hooptie or SnackBar is not required. When two cushions are used together along with a Hooptie or SnackBar, they can also line the insides of the Hooptie. Please refer to the MagicCarpet manual below for tips on installing more than one MagicCarpet.

The MagicCarpet is compatible with any of our FlightDecks, the RFA RearRacks, the Longtail All-In-One Rack as well as most other cargo bikes.

The MagicCarpet is not compatible with the SnapDeck or TechDeck.

Used the magic carpet for 5 years before needing replacement. Arranged two of them in a line to create front and rear padding so 3 kids could squeeze in together.
