This low-profile, metal adapter is required for attaching the Thule Yepp Maxi Child Seat (not included) to the front of the LT2 FlightDeck*. This adapter will only work with a Yepp Maxi, NOT a Yepp Nexxt Maxi**. This adapter is for the front position only. If you would prefer the rear adapter, you can find it here. dimensions9 × 9 × 1 in Installation Notes Previously, Yepp Maxis were attached to a port that was cut into the LT1 version 2 FlightDeck. This new adapter bolts directly to the bike frame and allows for a more secure connection. Cutting the port is still required for proper fit on the deck.
Compatibility If you have a 2016 and newer EdgeRunner, Leap, or Cargo Node, you DO need this adapter.
This is not compatible with:
If you have a pre-2016 EdgeRunner, FreeRadical, Cargo Joe, Radish, or Surly Big Dummy, you DO NOT need this adapter.
The Yepp Adapter is not required for the LT1 or LT1 version 2 FlightDecks but is required for the LT2 FlightDeck. Not sure what FlightDeck is on your bike? Check out the FlightDeck Identification Guide to verify.

Here is a picture of the front adapter. When properly installed, the smaller end of the adapter should face the front of the bike.
Warranty The Yepp adapter is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Defective products will be repaired or replaced at Xtracycle’s discretion. To determine if a warranty claim is valid you may be required to return the product to Xtracycle for inspection. Xtracycle is not responsible for removal, installation or shipping costs. This warranty applies only to the original buyer and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover damage from use of this product outside of its intended range or that resulting from modification or neglect. It also does not cover wear and tear resulting from the normal use of the product. If think you have a warranty issue, please email us to start the warranty process.
Returns Returns must be approved prior to return shipment by emailing support@xtracycle.com. Items must be in new, unopened condition (unless the return is an approved warranty claim – see “Warranty”) and mailed through a traceable mailing service. Returns received in damaged packaging will not be refunded and will not be mailed back to the customer. If the packaging has been opened or altered in anyway (i.e. cut open and taped closed again), the packaging will be considered damaged and the item will not be refunded and will not be mailed back to the customer. Returns due to mis-shipment and return shipping due to mis-ordering will be at the customer’s expense. There are no returns or exchanges on sale items or complete bikes.

I have the FlightDeck LT1 – Version 2 will this fit on it and if i have one seat should i buy the front or back version of the rack? Also to confirm this will fit the Thule Yepp Maxi rack mount child seat?
