More about this product

The Sport Rider Hitch Bike Rack for Electric Bikes is the E-bike version of the Sport Rider SE2. It will carry one EdgeRunner with Hoopties, U-tubes, or both.  It can carry two without those items attached.  Special features include extra heavy duty wheel holders for heavy load carrying capacity. This hitch rack folds up when not in use, tilts down for easy cargo access and includes a keyed alike locking hitch pin, security cable and locking frame hooks. Features patented no wobble-no tools hitch tightening system. For 2″ hitches only.

If you have an EdgeRunner with U-tubes, a Hooptie, or both, this rack will only fit that one bike.  If you have an EdgeRunner Swoop or eSwoop, you will need the Hollywood Racks Bike Adapter Pro as well.

Hey there, Alex! I have not personally used this on a Toyota Prius but after a quick internet search, this appears to be a pretty popular rack for that car model. I hope that helps!

  2. Question

    Nate

There is also a cargo bike rack on the Hollywood website. Anyone know what the difference is for the $20 price increase over the ebike rack? The specs look the same.

Hey there, Nate! It seems like the only difference is the “cargo bike” rack can accommodate tires up to 5″ wide whereas the SE listed here has a max tire width of 3″. Both racks can accommodate the longer wheel base of Xtracycles.
