Details matter
From components to accessories to electric drive system, we make sure everything is hand-selected to give you the best riding experience for you and your passengers.
Description
Saddled up on the Stoker, you’ll still be the one who always shows up to help—whether moving a friend into a new apartment, picking up groceries for Grandma, or helping your pal out on their farm on Saturdays. Never again utter the words, “Sorry, I can’t help out today. I’m on my bike.” This bike wants to work. Load it up, front and back—then load it up some more.
The Stoker is for you, the Dependable Adventurer. The one who brings the stoke and jams to the school drop-off, but also the two-burner stove and griddle to the Mother’s Day sub-24. And best of all, this bike lets you obey your stoke, wherever it’s calling you—even off the pavement. Combine 24-inch wheels (the sweet spot between lateral strength, rollability, and a low center of gravity) with fat tires, and you’ve got a comfy, cushioned ride even on the gravelliest of gravel. And you thought surfers invented stoke?
The 2021 eStoker comes equipped with the Shimano STEPS EP8 system:
- The Shimano STEPS EP8 e-bike motor has a top pedal-assist speed of 20 mph and up-to 85 nM of torque for hilly terrain or heavier loads.
- A single 630 watt-hour battery provides between 30 to 60 miles per charge, depending on conditions.
- The Shimano EC-6002 charger which can charge your battery from 0-100% in 10.2 hours or 0-80% in 7.5 hours.
- The E5003 cycling computer which gives easy handlebar access to system controls.
- Learn more about the Shimano STEPS EP8 system here.
Included accessories:
- Pair of Xtracycle FreeLoader Too sling bags
- Pair of Xtracycle U-tube foot rests
- Xtracycle KickBack 3 center kickstand
- Xtracycle Longtail Fenders
- Front and rear Herrmans lights
An important note about child seats:
If you intend to install a Yepp child seat on the Shimano powered eStoker, you will want to get the Yepp Nexxt Maxi. For a complete list of compatible and incompatible child seats, please see the article on child seats here. For the best position for a child seat on the rear deck, please see this article here.
The Yepp Maxi is not compatible with the Shimano powered eStoker.

We love our new bike! It’s taken some getting used to on how to ride it, mount/dismount and accelerate, but I love that it’s super smooth, even with my wiggly kids on the back. I look forward to doing more rides in the future and using the bike to transport our kids to and from school, it’s such a fun experience!

It feels very good to be able to ride a bike to work and drop off the kids and pick up groceries. Gives me an hour of being a kid again.

Loving our new eStoker! Rides like a regular bike, but can carry my daughter and a weeks worth of groceries. The top of the line Shimano EP8 is a perfect addition to make this bike more functional for me and my wife, especially riding up hills with a full load.
