Electric-assist might not be necessary for your needs

According to your Ride Guide answers, we believe you are good to go on human power alone and might not need e-assist. Our bikes give you plenty of gearing options – 27 gears in total – so you can get in a low gear to conquer hills with heavy loads and then shift into high gear to go fast on flat surfaces or downhills.

Getting a non-electric bike now doesn’t mean you can’t upgrade later. Pedal-powered bikes (another term for non-electric bikes) can be converted down the road if you decide an e-bike might benefit your changing needs. You can read more about e-bike conversions here.
