Cargo bikin’ dad-n-daughter duo — Chris and Sydney — treated us to a taste of what is to come with their Powered By Xtracycle everyday adventure series. “The two of us are starting a new adventure here in the DC Metro area and it’s all *Powered By Xtracycle*. Follow me and my daughter, Sydney (AKA: The Bug), as we wander around Northern Virginia and Washington, DC hitting restaurants, bakeries, and cafes, exploring the vast array of monuments and sights, and gorging ourselves on the equally vast array of museums, doing it all on our electric assist Xtracycle Edgerunner.

We’ll share some of our favorites as well as checking out everything we haven’t already tried. Kicking it all off is a visit to one of our old haunts, one well before we had our first Edgerunner and were blazing around with a trailer, Bayou Bakery. Beignets are an essential part of a healthy life but lately, I haven’t been taking care of myself—I have a fever and the only prescription are beignets.”
