Direct Home Delivery

When you choose to have your Xtracycle shipped via Direct Home Delivery, you will receive your bike fully assembled and ready to ride. All you need to do is remove the straps and padding, roll your new bike off the pallet, and hop on to give it a spin.

Just the way we designed it. No assembly. No headaches. No worries.

How does Direct Home Delivery work?

Assembled by a pro, just for you

Our trained staff mechanics here in California will assemble your bike, exactly as you ordered it, including all add-on components, within 14 days of receiving your order.

Given our thorough safety check

Your bike is run through our rigorous 71-point assembly & safety checklist, to ensure it is truly ready to ride and set up just as you wanted it.

Delivered directly to your door

Your bike is carefully boxed up and handed off to one of our premium freight partners, to be delivered right to your home. You can expect shipping to take 7 to 14 days, depending on where you live.

It’s that simple. And it’s part of what makes Xtracycle different.

Still have some questions? We’re sure you do. Here are the ones we’ve heard most often:

What about test riding before I buy?

How does a 30-day, 50-mile test ride sound? Instead of test riding, you can test buy. That’s why we offer a money-back guarantee. When your bike is delivered in our Big Box of Happiness via Direct Home Delivery you can: ride it, put it through the paces, put your kids on back, turn the electric assist up to 11 (or at least 5), go to the store, go to school, go camping, see if it makes your life better. If not, we make returning it a cinch.

What if it doesn’t work out for me?

Within 30 days of receiving your bike and within riding 50 miles, you may return it to us if you decide the Xtracycle you purchased just doesn’t quite fit your needs. We will arrange for a freight pick-up of your bike and you will follow our instructions to prepare your bike for the return trip. You’ll be responsible for the cost of assembly and shipping both ways.

How much does this cost?

On our end, it costs around $1000 for both the assembly, safety checks, boxing, and shipping. But you only pay $350. Why the difference in cost? We’re so committed to you getting the bike you need exactly the way you need it that it’s worth it to us.

What if I live in Canada?

Not a problem for us. We can definitely ship your bike to Canada but there are a few details you should be aware of. Read about shipping to Canada here or reach out to us at for more details.
