FORGED BY THE CALL OF GLOBE-SPANNING TRAVEL

John Freeman has ridden 120,000 km through 15 countries, spanning urban centers to the most remote and challenging terrain, while sharing different facets of global culture. Recognizing the unique demands presented by traveling with his co-pilot Mira, their gear, varied terrain, and limited access to support, Freeman approached Xtracycle to produce the ideal, purpose-engineered cargo bicycle for riders seeking to traverse some of the world’s most epic terrain.

Cargo-forward riders have traditionally had to compromise in their bike choice: mid-tail options are limited; riders either pay for a custom setup at a premium price or sacrifice ride quality with an overloaded traditional bikepacking setup. The OmniTierra delivers the flexibility essential for cargo carrying and terrain management, the ride quality necessary for comfort, and the durability required for technical demands.

The result of a two-year collaboration between John and Xtracycle is the OmniTierra—a mid-tail cargo bike featuring a low-maintenance Gates Belt Drive and Pinion gearbox, flexibility for a range of gear and wheel sizes for different adventure challenges, and uncompromised ride quality. Built on a titanium frame, the OmniTierra is made for riders dreaming of trails and tracks that lead to epic adventure.
