Location

Where we live reflects the way our products are designed: to maximize our experience of both the wilderness and the city.

Some of use live and work on the San Juan Ridge, between the South and Middle Yuba Rivers in Northern California. It's a happening little spot in the foothills of the Sierra, in a land of granite river valleys filled with swimming holes and crisscrossed with mountain bike trails. This open playground provides our bodies with all the recreation we could hope for and keeps our minds churning.

Our urban teammates are only a quick train ride away in the fertile cycling grounds of San Francisco and Berkeley. Our city mouse crew holds down our Emeryville office, offering test rides to local customers and promoting our SUB's at local bike culture events.

For us it's the best of both worlds: close enough to the mountains to stay tuned to the natural world and close enough to the city to stay abreast of urbanity and humanity. We find this centering essential for being able to push the boundaries of our culture.
