Prana Visit from Xtracycle and the 2 Mile Challenge
Mike Hill of Prana took this shot when the Clif Bar Two Mile Challenege rolled through southern california.
I don’t know if this was a conscious spoof on Xtracycle co-founder Ross Evan’s yoga shot of Darren Rhodes from Tucson’s legendary Yoga Oasis.
Regardless, the Xtracycle-Yoga connection is clear, apparently, it’s just not always clean.
Check more great photos from Mike’s website of the visit here: www.mikehill.com/data/web/2mile/. Really, not to be missed.

i love this shot too— actually this was the one pic i didnt take-im the goofball pedaling in this one- i gave my camera to prana mens designer kip gerenda — we wanted to re-enact ross’ classic image of darren that prana has used in many ads- (the original photo is beautiful)—we almost ate shit hard– several times— the crazy belgian on the back is Arnould T’kint - he does not practice yoga - i was surprised he just busted this pose out , even if was only for a few seconds- i think the hand rolled cigarette in his mouth is a nice touch–again i cant stress how many times we almost crashed trying this and its a loong fall– darren is amazing and thanks for the great time clif and xtracycle showed everyone at prana— all the wild bikes you let people ride put a smile on everyones face-not to mention the music was great!
positive vibes,
